A pest control audit and training in a cashew processing plant.

The challenge

In a cashew kernel plant, pest control protects product quality and consumer safety: staff must master it and it must be verifiable.

How the assignment unfolded

In a cashew kernel factory, a single insect or rodent can be enough to get a lot rejected. ANATRANS SA, in Bobo-Dioulasso, wanted to make sure its pest control held up. In two days, we trained the staff in pest management, then carried out the factory’s “Pest Control Management” audit: review of the system in place, findings and recommendations.
